About Evert Wilbrenninck
The alexander technique teaches you to let go of unneccesary muscular tension. It teaches you to use your body effectively and efficiently and thereby deals with many of the underlying causes of neck and back problems, poor posture, movement and coordination problems, breathing problems, repetitive strain injury, undue tiredness, stress, performance anxiety.
During lessons people often find themselves breathing more easily and fully, they feel more relaxed and alive (not realising how much tension they were carrying until they let go), they feel more aware of themselves and have greater clarity of mind. People find they are more genuinely able to express themselves as they learn to let go of old habits and self-limiting ideas.
The alexander technique has also proven to be of great benefit to performers of all kinds: singers, speakers, actors, musicians, athletes have all used the technique to their advantage.
